Jakarta..ooh Jakarta

Jakarta was a lot of pleasure yesterday. There was no traffic jam, and I came to the office really fast. Usually It took more than an hours, to my office from my home, yesterday it took me only 30 minutes. The traffic wasn't crowded like usual. Actually, yesterday was a public holiday. Government set us one more day for holiday before christmas, so that christians could celebrate christmas with more days, But I was one of those who could enjoy the holiday, because my office still opened. I didn't care much about that condition, because I'm feeling so good yesterday. Furthermore, I didn't go to college yesterday because of that holiday.

In Memoriam Grandpa

It's been three days since you passed away. Sometimes I can't believe it that you've gone. Things happened really fast. The day you went away, it was happened so sudden, that everybody hardly accepted and believed it. Although it's so hard, I try to face the truth. Remembering all the time with you, it was so nice. And now even though you're gone, you always have a place inside my heart. Farewell Grandpa.

Rafting at Ciberang, Banten

Two weeks ago, me and my college friends went rafting at Ciberang River, Banten. It takes 4 hours to got there from our college at Depok, including traffic jam on the way to the rafting location. Despite of that traffic jam, We got a lot of exciting moments and bunch of experience on that amazing days.

Another Field Tasks

Today, another field task at Soekarno-Hatta airport..

This time, the condition wasn't hectic like before, but it's still exciting to be in the airport early in the morning. I don't know why, I always feel something good when I came to the airport. We got the job done pretty well though.

New Green Crocs

My father bought a new crocs for me two days ago. It was in a cool, simple style and powerful. My father said that I'd better use this crocs to protect my feet whenever I'm riding my motorbike, and struggle through rainy days, rather than only use my swallow sandals.


The color is green, with the white lines on the lower side of it. The color was chosen by my brother. He knows my favorite color. He also got one too, the blue one. Thanks to my Father and my Brother.

Welcome Obama

Today, obama came to Indonesia. This situation also bring some good news and bad news. The good news is that there is hope that Obama will bring lots of ideas and good agreement for Indonesian government. The bad news is some activity in Jakarta will be disturbed. Many roads are blocked. And I can go to my college because my college has been sterilized for 1,5 days And this had caused my PPSI quiz and mid-test exam cancelled. Great.. Thanks to Obama... Despite of the good things and bad things, I hope your visit goes well and brings lots of improvements in the World, especially Indonesia.

Do I need to be so hasty?

Now I wonder why god only give 24 hours a day..

But that doesn't mean I am not be grateful with that. I'm just wondering why. Just a second, I do something contraproductive, or doing nothing, then for another moment, I realized that i spend my time for something unimportant. I know that Allah must have reason giving 24 hours a day for us. That means we have to manage our time wisely for something good. And I've just realized that after this busy life came over me. Life for me now, is a sequence of many routine task that I have to do. It is 180 degrees different from what i had before, when I haven't finished my diploma degree. And now the fact that I have finishe my diploma, gives me many new rights and obligations. Sometimes I feel like I can't control my time, I still feel inconvenience and still have to adapt more to life. If you wanna know bout my life now, you can imagine that in the morning I am an employee in an office in Slipi, 1 hours by motorcycle from home. then I continue my study at Depok in the evening until 10 pm, then i came back home at nearly midnght. What a life.. I Even don't have enough time to rest or to complete my college assignment. It's not my comfy life anymore, It's a jungle. And now I understand why so many people said that when you enter the working life,"welcome to the jungle". Truly I am indeed. But that wasn't so bad. Coz I got so many experience at work. That's even better than you just spend your ineffective and contraproductive day at home, sleeping, the way i did before. Thanks God, maybe I just need time to adapt it more.

Matriculation Test

Two days after the announcement of me got accepted as a university student in Faculty of Computer Science, Information System major, I got informed by phone and email that I had to do some kind of test, which is called matriculation test. I was surprised because this is the first time I had this kind of test.

I never realized before that I had to do some test after I got accepted, and this thing was something new for me. It was a 50-multiple-choice about information system, mostly about, java programming, operation system, and discrete mathematics. Although I’ve got some of these things in my diploma college before, but this time, it’s a little bit different. It seems that they want to know, how much I’ve got about this major, especially the scientific sides of this major. Then I realized that, what I’ve had before was something which is better called a business-oriented Information system major.

Well, so I had pretty hard time inside the exam room, trying to finish the test. But I think, I find myself not so bad in the test. Although I didn’t know much for java programming syntax, I still can understand the logical means of the code, and I know some about operation system and discrete mathematics, I learn some of them in college before, and by myself. Hopefully the result was good.

Night

Night..
It is always the right time to do something privately.
Time to think about yourself, about what had happened during the day, and what will we do tommorow.

It is kinda make you feel some sorrow and loneliness though..

Night is the time to rest, after all the things that we have done before in the morning.

For me, gettin up at midnight, is a very, very special time. Imagine that you could do anything you want in the midnight, you can dream anything you want, without disturbance from any other things or person. I always treasure my night time a lot, preferably at home. Maybe that's the reason I always sleep too late, and get up late.

My Place of Imagination

I guess i'm a kind of what it is called dreamer. My fantasy and my imagination often works too hard on me, that it would drop me somewhere that I even don't know where it is. I don't really sure about how it works. When I feel unsure about anything, I feel bad, then suddenly I remember that place, that fantasy, that imagination. Then it makes my heart feel warm. I even don't know if this place is real or not, but I feel like I 've ever gone there before.

The first place, located in a short path of a forest, not a wild forest, maybe, because it's so beautiful there. When I walk along the path, I see many big and shady trees at left and right side of me. It was in the afternoon maybe 4 p.m after the rain. The sunlight filtered by leaves of the trees. Because it was rain before, so raindrops fall from the leaves of the trees.

The second place, located in a wide wheat field. It was at noon, The sun was shining brightly, but wasn't hot. I am alone, nobody else in there. Just me, raising up my hand and feel the wind blow softly.

The third place, it was spring, I was on the hill with nice grass field on it. It seems like the grass fields has been taken care well. I was only sitting and enjoying my day there.

That three places always makes me feel warm. Whenever i'm in pain or having troubles in my life, I just dream those places and all of my troubles are left away.

Semarang - Yogyakarta Trip

So what do you think of travelling?

Three days ago, my family and I had a road trip to Semarang and Yogyakarta. The main purpose is to attend the ceremony of our relative's weddings, but we had a lot of fun on the trip. We use our car as the transportation along the trip. It was a long, long 400 kilometres journey.

We went to many place in Semarang and Yogyakarta. It's beautiful to see Semarang's view at night. My Father said it was like in San Fransisco. Yogyakarta too, Never lose its senses. The tradition and culture are still existing, although still influenced by globalization nowadays. We went to many place in Yogyakarta, especially malioboro. We used horse carriage to visit some place in Yogyakarta, like Dagadu store, and other Gift store.

It was a nice trip, especially because we seldom had a trip recently, because of our duties in life.

Internship

And you know what?

I got an internship in The Ministry of Agriculture Republic of Indonesia. Well, it was a part of the things I had to do before my graduation. I had to prove that I am acceptable to work in the real world. I think that was the reason why me and my friends had to deal with internship.

It was a three-months internship and i think it was not so bad. My other two friends and I had to make web application for the clinic of the ministry. It wasn't very hard though, just need some passion to do that. Although, we didn't get allowance in internship, but i think we had a great time together. At first we had nothing to do with that, we were confused. But since we had good teamwork, finally after three months we get the job done. Well not quite finished actually. We still need to give presentation, take survey and make documentation for the application.

New Year..New Resolution..

Well i've got so busy lately that I had to close my previous blog on fillyourbrain.blogspot.com because of some particular reason.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy my new blog..

It's called valdy's note maybe because I always try pretty hard to share my life to another..coz recently It took me so much time when I tried to tell anyone about my life.

I hardly can explain myself at all.
So I try to use better ways to communicate my life to all of you.
Maybe this is just simple blog.
but hopefully I can give you a lot more than I expected.
